Suggest Remedy For Foreskin Tightening

I'm almost 37 years old and just know I'm learning that when foreskin doesn't retract over the penis this is referred to as phimosis? A few year back during intercourse i injured myself during intercourse which resulted in the foreskin healing but becoming tighter. What should I do and what would be my treatment options? I'm doing as much research that I can to gain more knowledge about what I have and what can be done about it. Any assistance would be helpful.

Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your anxiety.
Phimosis is cured by doing a circumcision. There's no medical treatment.
In the long term,it can also cause problems,as you've experienced earlier.
The main problem is maintaining penile hygiene,as there's smegma under it.
Without retracting the foreskin,it's not possible to wash the penis head area.
That causes infection called balanoposthitis. This can be painful.
If you've any other doubt, you may send it as a direct question to me.
