Suggest Remedy For Fracture In Arm

Hi,I broke my left arm 9 years ago, after it was healed it ached when i swam but this pain soon stopped. Over the last few days it has began to ache again like it did 9 yrs ago. I was just wondering if this is normal or i should consult my doctor? Thanks
