My mother (82 years old) has recently started having nosebleeds that last up to an hour and a half before the bleeding starts. she is very tired all the time, compared to 5 years ago, but in fairly good health. She does not have any issues such as high blood pressure. What could be some things we could try to change to help this. We are going to get a humidifier to help with the dry air this weekend.
Hi, welcome to HCM, Nosebleed is more common in the elderly due to high blood pressure, atherosclerosis, daily aspirin use or bleeding disorders. Usually, the older the patient, the more serious the nosebleed. i suggest you to get a ENT check up for her...wish her a speedy recovery...
