Suggest Remedy For Frequent Popping Of Ankle Bone

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I was walking down the stairs and my ankle "popped" and my foot got stuck in the "L" position. Stayed that way for several hours and then just popped back in. No swelling, no real pain, just uncomfortable when stuck... Has continued to do this periodically and I have to wait for it to pop back in. What could this be?
