Suggest Remedy For Frequent Sneezing And Runny Nose Post Colonoscopy
My husband had a colonoscopy this morning with oxygen through his nose and IV propafol. He is now having extreme sneezing fits and runny nose and watery. This is especially difficult and uncomfortable for him because he is in recovery from a brain stem stroke. Do you have any suggestions on what could ease these symptoms for him? Thank you.

The symptoms are likely due to a reaction to either tubing used to deliver oxygen or any of the medications used.
He can consider the use of an oral antihistamine and decongestant to see if this would help.
These would be available in combination over the counter.
