Suggest Remedy For Genital Warts

Hello. I am a healthy 37yr old male. Long story short I have genital warts. I have been treating them with Aldara for about 7 months now. They seem to be getting better. But not gone. Should I expect that they will ever go away? Truthfully or am I just fighting a losing battle? I am no longer sexually active because of it. I've heard they will clear in under 2yrs. Is this a myth? I know I will carry HPV forever but will the warts go away?
