Suggest Remedy For Hair Fall In Hypothyroid Patients

My Name is Ms Swati Banerjee. Age- 40 years. I am suffering from Hypothyroidism from last 4 years and now I am on Thyronorm (levothyroxine) -50 and my TSH, T3, T4 all levels are under control. I am a patient of Rheumatoid arthritis and I am taking the following medicines since Dec 2013. i) Folitrax (Methotrexate) -10 mg (one in a week) ii) Lefra (leflunomide)-10 mg ( one every alternate day) iii) Livogen Z (ferrous fumarate + folic acid) – daily two except on the day taking Folitrax-10. I am taking these medicines for last six months but since last one month after getting my hair cut with style from a beauty parlour I am facing severe hair fall (more than 100 per day) hairs are falling more from the back side and less from top and side. My hair fall is not hereditary. Pls tell me the reason for hair fall and the solution.

I really appreciate your concern, I would advise you to have important medicine only, if you are going to have so many pharmaceutical agents for no good reason then you have to face the side effects of that drugs so in my opinion try to avoid the unnecessary medication, for the hair fall concentrate on balance diet, keep the stress level very low, cut down the medicine, take care and have a nice day.
