Suggest Remedy For Hard Lumps Under The Armpit

At least 4 weeks ago I noticed these hard lumps in my armpits that hurt, sometimes a little rash on the skin, not pimples.2 weeks ago red welt like, small hard bumps started appearing on the palms of my, thumbs, between fingers, forehead and and a few on scalp. They HURT. They do not itch, do not blister...just pain. Possibly a tiny indent in the middle. I am taking antihistamine & putting on Triamcinolone 0.1%. I don t think either are doing anything.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of hard lumps under the armpit which seems to be due to swelling lymph nodes , formation of cyst due to infection , bacterial or viral infection and due to some underlying disease (herpes ). Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult your doctor again for proper examination . Doctor may order blood test , chest X-ray or biopsy (to check for cancerous lesion). He/she may prescribe stronger antibiotics for more duration , may consider surgical excision or radiation therapy. For now give warm compresses several times a day and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen to reduce pain and inflammation.
