Suggest Remedy For Hard Painful Lump On The Penis From A Blister

I had a skin kind of white coloured mark on my penis shaft which was hard it s been there a while, I tried to pop it the other day as it was worse, I used a sterile needle, I had pus come out of it aswel quite alot. It s been a few days now and I have a hard lump and my penis shaft is really swollen and painful wht should I do?

Hello,

You should never pick or pop any type of bump or lump in your private area. It often results in the worsening of your symptoms. If sexually active you are advised to stay away from any type of sexual activity and also self pleasure. You are suggested to get examined by a Urologist. Get STD tests done to detect sexually transmitted diseases.

You can apply ointment acyclovir on the affected area. If reports come positive you will be treated with antibiotics and antivirals. You can take Acetaminophen or Combiflam, one stat after food when required to reduce symptoms of inflammation, soreness and pain. Take care of your hygiene, do not let the wound get infected. Wear soft cotton clothes. Avoid friction of the clothes with the wound.
