Suggest Remedy For Headache

Dear sir, I am suffering from headache since last 8 months. The pain is continuous 24 hours, sometimes mild sometimes severe and is present at both sides on temple area, checks and at the back of the head (center). I have consulted several neurologists and dentists, continued treatment for long but nothing helps. Some Neurologist say it is due to weak nerves, some say it is tension type headache. I have taken medicines for all but of no use. Even painkillers are not working. Dentists say that my wisdom tooth are erupting and are impacted thus may be causing headache and need to remove the tooth. But some dentist suggest that as I dont have any symptoms like swelling or infection inside mouth so tooth is not causing headache. Pl suggest

Im sorry to hear that you have been having such debilitating headaches. Since at this time no contemporary medicines have afforded you with any real relief I would suggest pursuing treatment through nutraceuticals and life style modification. First off try and identify possible " triggers". Triggers can be anything that you note sets off your headaches: stress, types of food ( chocolate, fatty meals, wine, alcohol), smells ( colognes, perfume, cleaners), and even stressful situations. Next instead of just treating your headaches try and get ahead of the problem by taking supplements which can help prevent them from occuring. I would suggest taking Vitamin D3 ( cholcalciferol) 2000-3000 units daily, in divided doses. Vitamin D is a stron anti-inflammatory and it has been shown there is a high correlation between people whom have neurologic problems, headaches and low viatmin D levels. I would also suggest starting to take a Vitamin B complex, this is a single pill with a combination of vitamin B3, B6. and B12. These medications will help give you some natural energy and will also help with any nerve related pains. Lastly, I definitely recommend you take magnesium citrate 500mg 1-2 hours before bed. Magnesium, especially in this form, promotes better sleep hygeine and has potent pain relieving effects. I hope these simple suggestions help you. If they do not please feel free to contact me in the future for further tips. Have a great day.
