Suggest Remedy For Heart Ailments

I started having bouts with severe afib in October 2003. I was 31 years old. I call my afib severe because when it happens, my heart rate is at least 180 BPM up to 230 BPM. Since October 2003, I ve had 3 more bouts with afib. Each episode requires a trip the ER, because unfortunately, my afib does not go away without serious medical attention, ie amioderone medicine, or electric cardio version. My doctor tells me its alcohol. I stopped drinking for 5 years, low and behold, it happened again. Even though I hadn t had a drink in 5 long years, I got afib. Could it be possible that hydrocodone caused my afib? Hydrocodone is the only common thread I can find, since its the only thing I took during all my severe afib episodes. WTF.. ??

hi
as such hydrocodone does not cause atrial fibrillation
looks like you have resistant AF.AS YOU HAVE MENTIONED THAT YOU HAVE EVEN UNDERGONE CARDIOVERSION TOO
you can start on permanent drugs like antiarrythmic drugs & betablockers under the supervision of the cardiologist
take care
