Suggest Remedy For Heart And Cholesterol Problem

I had a heart attack 13 months ago and a stent was put in. I never had high cholestorel, blood pressure or blood sugar. No family history of heart attacks either. I was angry and stressful all in my life right from childhood so got heart attack.
I have been prescribed 10 mg LIPITOR daily. I do not think I need that much, so I like to cut it down to 5 mg daily, but there are no 5 mg tablets and blister packages now in the LIPITOR cannot be cut into half to make into 5 mg.
So is it ok to take 10 mg every other day? My Cholesterol 2.4 ; Tri 0.6; HDL 1.1; LDL 1; Chol / HDL ratio 2.2.
This is after taking 10 mg lipitor dfor a year.
I tested myself by stopping lipitor for 3 months and then Cholesterol was 3.9; Tri 0.7; HDL 1.2; LDL 2.4; Chol/HDL ratio 3.3. They went up but not badly (after discontinuing LIPITOR for 3 months).

It is not good to discontinue LIPITOR abruptly then Chol jump up.
So CAN I TAKE 10 MG EVERY OTHER Day or take 5 mg (cut tablet into half) and take every day?

I do exercise, meditate, now relax, eat all healthy food.
