Suggest Remedy For Heavy Period

Please type your query here...hello I haven't stopped taking microgynon for three straight months and forgot this weekend and have just started the heaviest period ever. I took 5 tablets to try snd stop the bleeding but it hasn't. I hate having periods full stop. When will the bleeding stop and am I harming my body continually taking tablets and then taking extra to try and curtail periods?
