Suggest Remedy For High Blood Sugar In Pregnancy
My wife is 6 weeks pregnancy now. She is having diabetic since two years. Her present blood sugar level is FBS 137, FPBS 148., Average 4.8. Is her blood sugar level is too high now? Is it cause any harm for the baby at this stage without any medication? She has to take any medicine or insulin at this stage?

hi,her blood sugar levels are high and uncontrolled sugars in pregnancy can result in fetal malformations,preterm delivery,infections in the baby,kidney problem in the mother,dibetic retinopathy etc.she has to start taking insulin after consultation with a physician and will require home glucose monitoring with glucometer.all the best and take care.
