Healthy eating and an active lifestyle should be a way of life rather than viewing it as a treatment or cure for a problem. Its high time, you must focus on making lifestyle modification and eating habits as chronic diseases like heart disease and diabetes manifest when you start getting older. If at this stage, your doctor has advised diet and lifestyle modification, then it means you will have to change your diet and lifestyle, in order to avoid any major health problem. If you can make these changes, the problem can be nipped in the bud. If you do not take it seriously now, you might have to start taking medications for lowering cholesterol and all medications as you must be knowing have their side effects too. So, why not nip the problem in the bud and lead a healthy life!
