Suggest Remedy For High Fever And Redness Around Eye Of A Toddler
My 19 month old has had a fever for 2 days. That s his only symptom. But today he has been very red all around his eyes. What could the redness be? I thought this was just going to be a fever bug and go away, but the redness is concerning...any thoughts?

Redness around the eyes can come from allergies, or from rubbing, or from another source of irritation. At 19 months, an allergy could occur to something in her diet, such as cow's milk or wheat or egg, for instance. You may use a mild steroid cream for local application such as Calamine lotion.
