Suggest Remedy For High Fever In Children
Hello my girl has two years of age, is four days with cough and phlegms and I give her abroxol 5ml 0.300g/100ml. At this moment she has fever (100.6 ° F) and administer Tempra 5ml 3.2g/100ml she already took a shower of cold water but the temperature is not lower. PLEASE!!! What can I do???

It can take hours to a few days for the fever to resolve.
You can continue the tepid sponging and paracetamol. It is important to remember the water is to be tap temperature not cold.
The tempra can be given every 6 hours, the dose would depend on her weight. If she is not given enough, then the fever would not respond.
You may want to consider speaking to her doctor to determine the appropriate dose for her weight.
Dress her in cool clothing and avoid hot foods/liquids
