Suggest Remedy For Infected Insect Bite

I have two bites around my ankles that I know is from a flea. I m extremely sensitive. My one bite looks as if it is a bullet wound. This happens WITHOUT scratching. I always refrain from irritating the area. But the bites erupt anyway. I got bit last Monday. Wednesday, it started to look like a wound. It s now Saturday. Not much itch. When I spray hydrogen peroxide on it, the fluid turns white. It looks nasty almost a week later. Any cause for concern? I really hate fleas.

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

The white discoloration is due to the effect of the hydrogen peroxide on the skin .

If the area is swollen , red, painful or there is a discharge then this indicates and infection is present.
Topical and possibly oral antibioitcs, may be needed.

It would be best to use a repellent or preventative clothing to prevent the bites.

I hope this helps
