Male. 28 years old. 82 kg. no previous ear problems. I have burning sensation in my eardrums as it took me about 5 minutes to disable a very loud smoke alarm yesterday. I've seen a nurse this morning she says my eardrums are intact just inflamed and that I should take ibropufen and paracetimol. She said they should be fine in a few days but I'm worried as they are hurting quote badly. I've taken some ibropurfen. She said I would be fine to go to work but I've just made one phone call and it has irritated my ears even more. I don't want to leave work but I will if I need to. What do you think?
Dear any infection in ear nose throat can cause inflammed ear drums. Just check it out is there any middle ear infection or not, eustachian tube blockage may cause tympanic membrane congestion. Use tab Alday DC twice a day for 5days. Use water vapor inhalation, avoid cool drinks and cool water. Still symptoms persisten you need to consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly. I think I answered to your question if you have more questions please feel free to ask me.
Take care
