Suggest Remedy For Inflammation Or Pain In Arthritis Patients

Thank you ! I am searching for an alternative medication for Arthrotec. I have taken this for 20 years to address the inflamation and pain of arthritis however am now in need of surgery and have been advised to stop the arthrotec. I am now three day without medication and in severe discomfort (hands, feet, shoulders, hip and conncecting tissues). Can you recommend a medication that will address the inflamation / pain but not have the same unwelcome side effects of blood thinning and potential heart disease/ fluid retention and stomach ulcers. I have not had any stomach issues to date . I appreciate any advice you might offer. Thank you.

* The Arthotec is a Mesoprostol ( Prostaglandin analog ) used for variety of clinical conditions including that of Arthritis involving multiple joints with high intensity of pain and inflammation.

* As this is a long duration drug since 20 years, off label drugs are not going to help any way and you may experience withdrawal effects.

* As there are all high chances of kidney damage and devastating results as chronic consumption, it is best recommended to consult your doc for managing further proceedings of gradual tapering and switching off the molecule.
