Suggest Remedy For Inflammed Eye

I had cataract surgery on my right eye almost six weeks ago. Two weeks ago, two days after I had stop using Pred Forte, the eyeball became red and very sore. I went to my optomitrist and he said the pressure was fine. He prescribed using the Pred Forte for the inflammation four times a day for seven days; then, use it twice a day for a week. After being off the Pred Forte for two days, the eyeball is red and very sore again.

It may happen in many post op cases. You need prolonged tapering dose of pred forte.
In such a case one should
Start one hourly for a week, then taper 2 hrly, then 3 holy and so on and gradually come down. Get your eye pressure checked in between.
Additionally one can use nevanac (nevanac) eye drop twice a day for better control.
Vision may be checked in between.
If still inflamed, one should use any cycloplegic e.g.homatropine eye drops once or twice a day for a wk
