Suggest Remedy For Injury In Wrist

I hit the bottom side of my wrist off of the corner of a end table tonight. Now my hand, wrist, forearm, and upper arm all hurt. Kind of like bumping your funny bone but with pressure and normal pain as well. There's no bruise, the area is just red. Can it cause any serious problems?
