HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Chest pain can be due to any structure in the chest from the skin inwards.

It may be due to problems in the skin, muscles and other soft tissue, esophagus, bones (ribs and sternum), lungs and heart, anxiety.

Heart related pain more particularly ,angina, normally starts with activity and decreases with rest.
A heart attack causes persistent pain normally.

If you are worried about the possibility of heart disease then you need to see a doctor as soon as possible for examination and testing.

If the tests are negative then another cause would need to be considered

I hope this helps
