Suggest Remedy For Iron Deficiency Post Colostomy Surgery

I am a 73 year old man .i have undergone colostomy operation in 2009 and I am well now .but since operatjion I have iron deficiency.my iron level is low.my hemoglobin level is 7.i have been advised orofer fcm I ve.can I go ahead. I have tried iron tabs but they give me loose motions. Pl advise me

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is good to have iron supplement but it would be much better than this to find out the underlying cause of lowering of Hemoglobin, it may be some time due to micro oozing form guts, hope this helps, take care and have a nice day.
