Suggest Remedy For Irregular Menstruation

Hi, I have a question about my period. I was supposed to get my period on saturday the 26th but instead I got it friday the day before, it was red the first day and light, now for the past 3days it has been brown. What can be wrong? I also took a pregnancy test on saturday and it came back neg. Now im not sure what the problem is? Can you help?
