Suggest Remedy For Irritation And Sensitivity To Light

I just returned from an eye doctor. He said I have staph marginal keratitis in my right eye. Irritation and very sensitive to light. Is that the correct term? I can t seem to find anything about this on line. He has me on Neo-Poly-Dex eye drops, 4x per day.

Hi..
Welcome to HCM..
The diagnosis indicates that your cornea ie., the black portion of your eye is getting irritated with the eyelid/lashes infection from Staphylococcus..
As the cornea is having some lesions you are sensitive to light..
You need to use the drops and if required eye ointment also for night time application to treat the underlying condition..
It will take some time so keep using the drops without fail..
Hope I have answered your query..
Will be available if any further information is needed..
Take care..
