Suggest Remedy For Itchiness And White Discharge From Vagina

I'm 17 years old and my clitoris is very itchy and I also have dry white discharge. There isn't any smell at all. I went to my doctor and he said it was a yeast infection, I took the medicine and all. I was okay for a about a week and the itchiness came back along with the white discharge.... is this normal?
