Suggest Remedy For Itching And Irritation In Vagina While Treating Sinus Infection

Hello! I was sick with a headcold for about 3 weeks and I took everything that I thought would help me.. however that was not the case I ended up having to go see a doctor.. come to find out I have a sinus infection .. he gave me an antib. to take for 10 days (AMOX-CLAV) .. I have been taking it everyday .. but now I think I have an yeast infection .. it is discharge .. very itching and irritated ... and white stuff around my walls down there.. could this be a yeast infection or something else ... So I called the doctor back and explained my issue to him and he gave me meds. for that so i took it and it helped.. however i am still taking the anitb. so it is not going away..... probably won t until the anitb. is out of my system

I have read & understood your concern.
Yes, you seem to have yeast infection.. which can flourish due to destruction of normal protective vaginal flora because of the antibiotics.
Usually such condition is treated by oral Metranidazole along with fluconazole vaginal pessaries/ ointment .. to control yeast infection.( treatment of both sex partners is indicated .. when there is sex during the period. )
Ideally after discontinuation of antibiotic & control of yeast infection Lacto bascillus vaginal pessaries are given to bring the normal flora back.
