Suggest Remedy For Itching And Rashes In Inner Thigh Area
I recently got in a sexual relationship with a man. I began itching profusely in my inner thighs right near the vagina area a week now..I washed with everything from soap to oatmeal to teatree oil...I now have what look like burns in that area front to back....I was able to examine his pubic area and discovered his hairs is coated with Trichomycosis Axillaris. Is that contagious? If not what could the burns be?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of itching and rashes in inner thigh area which seems to be due to bacterial infection of the skin and soft tissue due to compromised immunity of your body and increased susceptibility of getting infected. It seems to be due to folliculitis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start with oral antibiotic course of Amoxycillin 500 mg in combination with clavulanic acid 125 mg for around 1 week. You should take oral painkiller as well. Avoid touching or pricking rashes on thighs. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. Apply topical antibacterial ointment neosporin or gentamicin on these rashes twice daily.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
