Suggest Remedy For Itching Flesh Colored Bumps On His Chest, Back, Chin And Cheeks
My young child has had small flesh colored bumps on his chest, back, chin and cheeks since Thursday. He has not complained of it itching or causing him discomfort. It makes his skin feel very dry. I m not sure what this is. I have been putting an organic moisturizer on him and caladryl clear on him and a medicated lip balm to help with the dryness around his mouth. Any insight is grateful.
Hi. As per your case history your child is having acneform lesions, my treatment advice is - 1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with spf more than 30. 2. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 3. Apply a clindamycin gel like Glocin twice daily on affected skin. 4. Continue applying moisturizer twice daily on affected skin. 5. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, vitamin supplements taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
