Anesthesiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Itching of penis may be due to a allergic reaction (to any soap or chemicals), infection (but there will be other symptoms like pain, swelling, redness etc.), poor hygiene, sexually transmitted diseases, tinea cruris or jock Itch, tight innerwear, eczema or ingrown hair after shaving.

Keep the area clean. Place a cool compress on the area. Take tab. Cetirizine once daily for 3 days. Avoid chemicals or strong soaps. Avoid sexual activity. If your symptoms persist, please consult a physician for further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
