i am in cochin .my body was full of icing so i consult a dermatologist .she gave me clop_e oilment.i am satisfied .my face also iching ,then i put my face also clope.this was one year before.i am 37.my face is full of black mark and small pimples .then i consult that dermatolagist.she told me clope not good for face.i shocked. then she give me deriva cms,for night,pro _emol for day .i put that also.my face is very very dry andlook like scales.i am very scared.so i call doc she told me so cold time so u put faceclin in night .aloekin in day . i am very confused .please help me sir

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it is true that Clop cream contains steroid Clobetasol Propionate and is not suitable for face as long term use while at times even a short term use of it can cause side effects like skin thinning, pigmentation, pimples, increased hairgrowth on face, rashes, dilated veins under skin..

As you have pimples and dark pigmentation now, it can be probably due to side effect of the steroid cream.

The present medication that is given to you that s Faceclin gel that contains Clindamycin and Niacinamide is an antibiotic gel and Aloekin that is Vitamin E gel is suitable for use and you can continue with these two..
Dervia CMS is a retinoid and at times can cause side effects so can be avoided..
You can also use Kojic acid and arbutin containing creams to reduce pigmentation..
Exfoliate your skin weekly with a mild face scrub..
Limit sun exposure to prevent Photosensitivity effect that can further increase pigmentation..
