Suggest Remedy For Itchy And Swollen Vagina

my vagina has been very itchy and swollen for the past 3 days. now my clitoris is very sore and itchy and my labia are also very red and swollen.. I m not sure if it s from sex but I have refrained simply because it would be uncomfortable. it s too hard to get a quick appt at they OBGYN so I went to my family doctor and they prescribed me a medicine for a UTI. the pain is unbearable. I have been using vagisil and it helps for a very limited tie. what is my best option ? or should I just beg my gyne for an appt. asap because they next open appt they said they have is in oct.
