Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a bump that just showed up on my back on Monday. It itches really bad and the more I scratch it, the bigger it gets. I thought maybe a bug or mosquito was in my bra because its several of them that showed up in the last 3 days. Now, I have two on my breast and they all itch. I have only been to a little kids party outside and then I went to the gym over the weekend. NO one else in the house is dealing with this, but me. Im the mother and my whole body is just itching. One more embrassing comment, my anal is itching and burning. I don t know whether to treat all these sores as ringworms, that s what they look like and they are sore to the touch. I think I should go to the emergency room.
First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it seems like you are having a fungal infection and need to consult your dermatologist.
Meanwhile, try taking antiallergic and some soothing lotions. Also, look for any allergic material that may have come in contact with your skin.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
