General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

In women who are premenopausal, it is normal to have approximately one-half to one teaspoon (2 to 5 ml) of white or clear, thick, mucus-like, and mostly odorless vaginal discharge every day.

Vaginal swab is taken and microbiological examination is done and treatment is given accordingly. Yes, it can be Candida or fungus or parasitic. Proper hygiene, cleaning methods , and food should be healthy and antioxidants multivitamin can help.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
