Suggest Remedy For Itchy Spots / Rashes On Knee

I have had an itchy spot in a tiny area a couple of inches above my knee for at least 2 months, and it simply will not go away. There is no rash and there are no bumps and no discharge whatsoever. It simply itches, and I find myself scratching it every hour. So far I have not tried to treat it with any type of medication. I have no allergies. I am not on any medications, and I do not have pets. I am now concerned because this has persisted for so long.

Hi.
As per your case history you may be having eczematization on knee.
My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid any kind of irritation and trauma at the affected part.
2. Apply a mid potent topical steroid cream like mometasone or betamethasone cream twice daily. If itching occurs than take tab. Levocetrizine 5mg as and when needed.

Thanks.
