Suggest Remedy For Itchy Vagina

I ve had severe itching in & around my vagina for the past week or so. I ignored it at first, hoping it would simply go away, but noticed that paper-cut-looking scratches began to appear in and near the opening, then a severe burning while urinating. Its not painful coming out until I feel it touch the scratch. There doesn t appear to be swelling. I m 16 and am not sexually active, so I highly doubt it s any sort of STI. Could the scratches simply be from me scratching my itches too hard? If not, what could it be? I started my period two weeks ago and I m still bleeding a litte bit. My period usually lasts an average 5 days, so this is peculiar. I m not sure if the bleeding is coming from the cuts or if I m just on a weird cycle. It also hurts to sit and occasionally to walk.
