Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

The sugar levels you have mentioned are higher. Due to the poor control of sugar levels, The joint and shoulder pains occur.

In such a condition, usually in a diabetic patient, either dosage of Antidiabetic drugs either by increasing dose of drug or addition of new drug is done. Your doctor has done that. Give some time for the drug for about 2-3wks. If still not controlled, then dose is increased a little more to control the sugar levels. once the dose is set, then continued.

Once the sugar levels are brought under control, then the pains gets reduced.

hope this guides you.
Thank you
