Suggest Remedy For Knee Pain With History Of Knee Injury

I had twisted my knee about 25 years ago, I had the treatment and it was fine but last six years it started hurting again, I cant put my weight on it cant walk on a brisk pace, I started karate 3 months ago and also i go to gym want to reduce weight , I am 45 years old and 78 kilo weight . my height is 1.75,

Hi,

Present pain may not be necessarily related to injury 25 years back. Some new ligament strain might have occurred.

kindly discuss with your orthopedician as karate or gym workouts may worsen the situation further if left untreated.

Also discuss the same with your instructors, as this may need some modification in training. Paracetamol can help for temporary pain relief.
