Suggest Remedy For Loss Of Hearing In Left Ear In Spite Of Wax Removal
hello doctors i am 2o yrs old and i loss my left ear hearing loss from a year and today i went to hospital and idid test pta..........but the tesult is severe mixed hearing loss......so doctors can u please help me....... in other hand left ear is ful of wax....it removed today but i lost hearing............m confused what to do?
As per your query you have hearing loss inspite of wax removal . There can be many other reasons apart from wax which are responsible for hearing loss like damage to the inner ear , ear infection , abnormal bone growths or tumors (acoustic neuroma ) and ruptured eardrum . When multiple factors involve in hearing loss this is mixed hearing loss like sensorineural hearing loss ( damage in the outer or middle ear and in the inner ear (cochlea) or auditory nerve ) . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist . There are many treatment options like medications, surgery, hearing aids or an implantable bone conduction hearing system.
Hope your concern has been resolved. Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
