Suggest Remedy For Low Blood Pressure

I have a friend who gets low blood pressure (89/57). I tested it today with my blood pressure monitor and her pulse was 106 and her BP was 89/57. She has had this happen before and feels very sleep and lethargic. What should I do? What should be done?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello and thank you for aksing HCM,

I understand your concern. You should advise your friend to drink enough fluids, 1.5-2 L every day, and to eat a little bit more salted food.
If his symptoms persist, than he should visit a cardiologist to check his heart. But in most cases, low blood pressure is a harmless condition, with which people have to learn to live with.

I hope this answer wa shelpful to you.
