Suggest Remedy For Lump In Upper Inner Thigh Due To Injury

hi, my husband had an injury on his upper inner thigh from crashing his dirt bike which caused a large bruising about 4 to 6 inches long and wide. The bruise is getting lighter, but today he has a painless lump, about 2-3 inches wide, which feels slightly warm to the touch, and it is only slightly firm, but mostly soft. Should he put ice or heat on it to reduce the sweeling? Or should he make a dr s appointment

Probably he has developed a hematoma.
It is collection of blood under the skin at the site of injury.
Slowly it subsides on its own.
There is nothing to worry.
If there is increase in pain or pus in the involved area then you must consult a doctor.
