Suggest Remedy For Lump Near The Rib Cage

I have a soft pliable lump, similar to what I would call a fat roll on my right side rib cage more to the back around or near the area where my bra rests. I have had the fat roll for sometime, have one on the other side. The one on the right side is not painful to the touch, but is annoying does ache sometimes. Seems to reduce in size after sleeping and not using my right arm. Otherwise feel quite good for being 61. What could this be & should I be alarmed?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear,
Description mentioned by you os of lipoma...which is also called as universal tumor as it may occur anywhere in d body.
Its a collection of subcutaneous fat.
Ideally they are neither painful nor they are symptomatic but if its large or compressing other vital structures than it can be removed
It can be left alone if its small or cosmetically not disfiguring.
Removal is very easy , it can be removed in local anaesthesia within few minutes.
I hope I answered ur queries well
Thanks
