Suggest Remedy For Lump On Chin Post Treatment For Cut

Hi, I had an accident about 2weeks ago and I got a cut on my chin. The bruise is healed and the scar has almost faded away as well but there s a hard lump on my chin. It does not pain unless I squeeze it very hard. I just wanted to know if it will heal by itself or I m supposed to do something to cure it? Are there any home remedies for it or should I get it checked up by a physician?

Hello and welcome.

It depends on various factors. Did your chin come in contact with the ground or any other surface? Did you get a tetanus shot after the accident? You were obviosuly not on any antibiotics and the lump could be an abscess. It would indeed be best if you can visit a physician for a physical examination.
