Suggest Remedy For Lump On The Buttocks Near The Anal Opening

Have had a dime sized lump on my right butt cheek close to Anas. Can squeeze it and it feels hard, tender to touch and purpleish in color. Has been the same for a few weeks now. Is this like an ingrown hair or pimple? Are there at home treatments or am I needing to see a dr or gyno?

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the lump on buttock near anal opening with possibility to squeeze, hard, tender to touch and purple color indicates hemorrhoid condition most likely. My guidelines at present:
- Sitz bath (sitting in a tub filled with lukewarm water 5 minutes each twice a day, additionally after passing stool)
- Manage to have soft, easy evacuation of stools
- Avoid spices, non veg, junk food, dairy fat
- Prefer high fiber diet with plenty of green veg, cereals, pulses, organic fresh fruits, more liquids
- Use bulk forming laxatives in case of hard stool

Consult your primary care provider for further guidelines of cure.
