I have a lump inside my tongue towards the tip, about the size of a small pea. It doesn t hurt unless I put pressure on it and there is no sign of irregular color. I am a 41 year old male. I cannot see it but can feel it. What could it be and what do I need to do to cure the problem?
Hello According to your description this could be a simple cystic swelling; if so, its harmless and would cause discomfort to you only by its presence. Definitive management of this is surgical excision of the cyst. But if this is growing fast in size then you should immediately visit a surgeon for a thorough work up.
