My dad Has been on warfarin for a while and now his physician told him that his blood was extremely thin. His primary care physician has suggested he stop warfarin for a bit and see a hematologist. What worries me is that he has black and blues and 2 lumps.
Hi, From history it seems that there might be having some petechial hemorrhages due to blood thinning medicine producing these bumps. Blood thinning medicine warferin can not be stopped without taking advice from your treating doctor. He might require PTB ( INR ) testing and accordingly your doctor will advice. Ok and take care.
