Suggest Remedy For Memory Loss Due To Gebapatin

Ive been on Gebapatin for about 1 year.. 2500 mg...,and seem to have had a rapid decline of memory. It has certainly helped my neurophy but I am worried about the memory loss. Since I don't have a doctor's appt for another month I am seriously thinking about cutting the tablet in half and then in fourths. Is this safe?
