Suggest Remedy For Metastatic Lung Cancer

My aunt recently was diagnosed with metastatic lung cance, the largest spot is 7.5 cm also a few spots in one of her bones. They released from the hospital for comfort care at a convelesant home. How long would this stay last and she is doing well so can she be moved to a different level of care home?

hi dear.
metastatic lung cancer is treated usually by chemotherapy. for bone metastasis, we need to give her zolendronic acid injection or oral formulations, so that we can prevent calcium resorption from bones. symptomatic treatment like pain killer should be given to comfort her.
the type of chemotherapy to be given, will be decided based on many factors like subtype of tumor, marker study, age of patient and her general condition, financial status of patient etc. if the general condition is poor and tumor burden is high we may opt for palliative treatment only, without chemotherapy.
