Suggest Remedy For Mind Block And Leaking Saliva From Mouth While On Epilepsy Medications
Hi doc, i am epilepsy patient for 7 yrs.i take topamax 150mg twice a day,there is a time that i feel block minded,according to my friend she told me that there is a saliva leaking in to my mouth for a few second,i dont like this feeling doc?how can i avoid this?tnx Im 33 years old,5`3 height and 72kg..female single
Excessive salivation occurs during temporal, parietal or frontal lobe epilepsy. The following can be done to decrease the excessive salivation: 1) Daily oral medications to diminish saliva production. 2) Periodic injections of a medication called Botox for temporary reduction in saliva production. 3) Variety of open surgical procedures to remove some salivary glands or disconnect others from the mouth.
